Midnight in the snow

So it finally snowed. Those light whispy specs of pale dust fell through the night and the next morning we were all transported to a winter wonderland.

There is something about snow that strikes a cord with me. It makes any landscape seem so serene and at peace. Especially at night when the snow kicks out an ethereal glow, perfect for taking some midnight photographs.

So me and my buddies headed out in the dead of night. Big jackets on. Gloves at the ready. Fully prepped for the minus degrees outside of our warm homes.

Us, out of focus. My fault completely.

The world was empty for us and the moon was burning a hole through the clouds. Camera and tripod ready I began taking shots.
